Speech Therapy:
Speech Therapy is used for treatment for speech and/or language disorders.
Speech therapy may be used to treat:
Aphasia, affects one’s ability to speak, understand others, read, and write
Articulation disorders, the inability to form certain word sounds
Cognitive-communication disorders, difficulty communicating caused by brain injury
Dysarthria, slow speech caused by weakened face muscles
Expressive disorders, difficulty conveying emotion through speech
Fluency disorders, including stuttering
Receptive disorders, difficulty understanding others when they talk
Resonance disorders, a blockage of regular airflow alters voice quality
Our speech therapy is conducted by speech-language pathologists and speech-language pathologist assistants. SLPs diagnose children and students up to 21 years of age who are identified with a communicative impairment. SLPAs conduct uninterpreted speech-language screenings and carry out treatment plans as developed by the SLP.
Speech therapy may include one-on-one or small group sessions depending on your child’s disorder, age, and needs. Activities may include language development stimulation through playing and books, practicing correct sounds and syllables, and homework for the child and their guardian to practice.
Occupational Therapy:
Occupational therapy is treatment for those with a physical, sensory, or cognitive disability to be as independent as possible as they relearn everyday tasks Our occupational therapy is conducted by occupational therapists and certified occupational therapy assistants.
Occupational therapy may be used to support patients with:
Amputations
Asperger’s Syndrome
Brain injuries
Depression and Anxiety
Down’s Syndrome
Spectrum Disorders
Occupational therapists directly treat children and students up to 22 years of age who experience delays or developmental challenges. Certified occupational therapy assistants implement treatment plans as designed by the OT and collect data under the supervision of the OT.
Occupational therapy may include relearning self-care tasks like bathing, getting dressed, and using the toilet.
Behavioral Analysis:
Behavioral analysis addresses specific behavior needs for children and students through specific plans that reshape how a client responds to different situations.
Behavioral analysis might support those with:

Behavioral analysis is conducted by board certified behavior analysts who develop individualized programs for clients. They supervise registered behavioral technicians and board certified assistant behavioral analysts.
